Our policy is one of continuous improvement and we reserve the right to change specifications
to our products or services without notice.
All goods are subject to availability.
You are responsible for deciding on the suitability of the goods offered for any
particular application.
We do not supply any goods on a trial basis.
Prices and Payment / Delivery and Shipping
ALL PRICES INCLUDE VAT
FireBrand Direct reserves the right to change the advertised price before you
place an order.
Deliveries are made Monday to Friday between 08.30 and 17.00, and will normally
take between 3 and 10 working days.
Deliveries are made tailboard to site (i.e to point of vehicular access) but not
locations within. You must make sure that you have adequate provision and personnel
to receive goods once off-loaded from the vehicle as the driver is under no further
obligation from that point. You must make sure that you have checked all dimensions
thoroughly and have adequate access for the goods being delivered, particularly
large and bulky items.
All deliveries must be signed for.
Should you fail to take delivery at the appointed address and time, goods may be
returned to our warehouse or supplier. The costs incurred where goods are returned
in relation to failed delivery attempts shall be passed on to you, the customer.
Next day delivery, specific day or time deliveries are also available - please contact
us for more information and costs.
Risk of loss or damage to the goods will pass to you upon delivery. Claims
for damage of the goods must be noted at the time of delivery, and noted to FireBrand Direct in writing within 24 hours of delivery to you.
Returns
Under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 (DSR2000) you have the right to return
your goods, provided you do so at your own cost and within 7 working days from the
day after you received and signed for the goods.
Goods returned will only be accepted by FireBrand Direct provided that they are returned
unused, in perfect condition and in their original packaging with all instruction
manuals. You must contact our sales office prior to returning any goods in order
to obtain a goods return number. FireBrand Direct reserves the right to charge a 30%
plus VAT re-stocking fee for any returned items.
Special order / bespoke goods may not be returned unless found to be damaged or
faulty upon delivery.
Within 30 calendar days of receiving your order you may return the goods to us at
your own cost provided they are un-damaged, un-used and in their original packaging
with all instruction manuals included, you will be charged a 30% plus vat re-stocking
fee for this.
The customer must arrange insurance with the carrier or Post Office when returning
goods to cover possible damage or loss in transit for the full value of the item.
If we have to replace any lost manuals or packaging, the cost of this would also
become payable by you the customer. You will be refunded or credited within 30 days
for goods returned under the above terms.
Where applicable carriage or postal charges are not refunded in the event of a customer
returning goods under our 7 or 30 day return policies.
Guarantee
Goods supplied by FireBrand Direct are guaranteed in accordance with the terms of
the manufacturer's warranty provided with the goods or for 1year if not stated with
the goods. If any product sold by FireBrand Direct proves defective within the guarantee
period the manufacturer will repair it at no cost to you.
The warranty applies to UK mainland only.
If any person undertakes the supply and/or fitting of parts or installation of equipment
not specified by the manufacturer, then any guarantee for that product may be void.
Some manufacturers operate a "Back to Base" guarantee where you must return the
item to them for repair, in these cases we do not provide replacement or loan equipment.
Our warranty does not apply to wear and tear, or if a product has been damaged or
misused. This also applies where a machine has not been maintained properly
Including cleaning and de-scaling where applicable.
The guarantee does not apply to a small number of machines marked “No commercial
warranty” which are suitable for domestic use only and which must be returned direct
to the manufacturer in the event of breakdown.
Machines returned for repair at owners risk and must be packed securely.
Every effort will be made by us to handle service calls quickly, however the manufacturer
will dictate the service arrangements. It may not be possible for service
calls to be made on weekends, bank or public holidays, evenings or at a time the
customer specifies.
If a service call is requested during the guarantee period and the fault lies with
the operation or installation and not the equipment itself then the charge for the
service call will be payable by the customer.
Machines returned for repair are not reassembled if on quotation do not require
the machine repaired
Any warranty cards must be returned to the manufacturer duly completed.
General
FireBrand Direct accepts no liability of whatever nature arising as a result of any
representations, breach of contract, late delivery of product, negligence or otherwise
including but not
limited to any liability for death or personal injury caused by FireBrand Direct negligence.
All conditions, warranties, guarantees and representations, expressed or implied,
by statute, common law or otherwise in relation to the goods (other than any liability
which FireBrand Direct is not permitted by law to exclude or restrict) are hereby
excluded.
Data Protection
Under the Data Protection Act 1998, we have a legal duty to protect any personal
information we collect from you.
- We will only use personal information you supply to us for the reason that you provided
it for.
- We will only hold your information for as long as necessary to fulfil that purpose.
- We will not pass your information to any other parties unless this is made clear
to you at the time you supplied it.
- All employees and contractors who have access to your personal data or are associated
with the handling of that data are obliged to respect your confidentiality.
Cookies and IP addresses
A cookie is a piece of information that is stored on your computer's hard drive
by your web browser. We do use cookies to make it easier for you to complete on-line
forms and store postcode information but these are only temporary and do not identify
you or your visit to our site. However, the computers which host our website do
maintain site logs which include the IP address details of all machines accessing
our pages. This enables us to monitor website usage.
Any IP information is treated as strictly confidential and is not published or divulged
to any third party.
Should any of the conditions herein be in conflict with those of the buyer, these
conditions shall prevail.
FireBrand Direct may at its absolute discretion decline to accept orders or
to offer credit terms.
